FISHER, George R. (formerly of Niagara Falls, ON) Peacefully in hospital, Perth on Thursday, June 16th, 2005 George R. Fisher in his 82nd year. Beloved husband for 57 years of Jean (McLeod) Fisher. Loved and respected father of Norm (Lurrean) of Niagara Falls, Barb (Bob) Lawrence of Fitzroy Harbour and Craig (Linda) of Waterdown. Sadly missed by his 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and predeceased by one grandson and one great-grandson. Also survived by his two sisters and predeceased by one sister. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and many good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth on Sunday, June 19th, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday from 11 a.m. until service time in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
