OBITUARY JENNIFER MAUREEN MARTIN Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family on June 18, 2005 at the age of seventeen years. Loved and mourned by her mother and father, Maureen McGregor and Dennis Martin, brother Christopher and by her grandparents Margaret and Ivan McGregor and Ron Martin. Deeply missed by her numerous aunts, uncles cousins and friends. A fighter to the end, Jennifer's unending determination gave her the strength to cope with her cancer and to carry on with her life. She loved to help others, even when her own health was failing her. A passionate young woman, Jennifer excelled in academics and sports even under tremendous difficulties. Her courage, spirit and enthusiasm for life were an inspiration to everyone she came in to contact with. Jennifer will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Carret, Danielle Drouin, Dr. Liben and the Nurses and Staff at Montreal Children's Hospital for their love and compassion shown to Jennifer and her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jennifer's name to the Montreal Children's Hospital Oncology Department. Visitation will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 boul. des Sources, D.D.O., QC (514)685-3344 on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The Funeral will be held at St-John Fisher Catholic Church, 120 Summerhill, Pointe-Claire, QC on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation will follow the service.
