McKAY, Esther Pauline (Ledingham) Peacefully in the Almonte General Hospital with her family by her side on Monday, June 20, 2005. Daughter of the late William Alexander and Laura Maud Ledingham (McEwen). Predeceased by her husband Alexander Leonard "Len" McKay and her brother William Alexander Ledingham and her granddaughter Modeen McKay. Esther is survived by her five children; Jim (Bev), Wayne (Merilyn) and Joan all of Almonte, Pauline (Winston) Ferdinand of Westchester Station, Nova Scotia and Ted of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the C.R. GAMBLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 127 Church Street, Almonte for visiting on Thursday from 12 noon until Service in the Chapel at 2 P.M., Rev. Barrie Goodwin officiating. Interment Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte. Donations in memory of Esther may be made to the Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor Foundation and would be most appreciated by her family.
