Donald F. BYRNE

BYRNE, Donald F. Peacefully in hospital, Perth on Saturday, June 25th, 2005 Donald F. Byrne (served in the R.C.A.F. for 27 years, valued and dedicated employee of Branch 244, Royal Canadian Legion, Perth, member of the Royal Canadian Air Force Association, Branch 443, Rideau Wing and the Knights of Columbus) in his 70th year. Cherished husband of Donna (Paul) Byrne and by former marriage the late Theresa (Moss) Byrne. Don was the dearly loved father of Donna Marie and her husband Robert Jackson of Perth and loved grandfather of Melissa, Justin and Alicia; he was predeceased by daughter Rita Byrne in 1983. He will be sadly missed by his brother Gerald (Jacqueline) Byrne of Toronto and sister Carm (the late Bob) Saunders of Perth, step-children Debbie Doogan, Stephen, Paul, Michael and Jody Ottman and their families, numerous nieces, nephews, family and good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth Monday, June 27th from 2 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Johns Church, Perth Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment, St. Johns Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Lupus Foundation, the Cancer Society or Branch 244. Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated.
