Josephine E. Brown 1913 - 2005 MIRAMICHI, NB - Mrs. Josephine Elizabeth Brown, widow of the late Ernest Walter Brown, of the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home and formerly of Maplewood Street, Miramichi, passed away at her residence, on Friday evening, June 24, 2005, at the age of 91. Born in Napan, on November 19, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Charlotte (Creighton) Petrie. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Marys Anglican Church, Miramichi; a member of the Miramichi Senior Citizens Club. She is survived by one son, Alfred E. Brown (Geraldine), of Bedford, NS; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Kathleen Murray, of Oak Point; four granddaughters, Nancy Brown, Pamela Duplessie, Andrea Casey and Jennifer Brown; four grandsons, David, Gary, Christopher and Timothy Brown; 10 great grandchildren, Laura, Colin, Evan, Daryn, Ethan, Drew, Olivia, Aleka, Sydney and Aiden. She was predeceased by her husband, in 1980; one son, Walter J. Brown; four sisters, Edith, Ethel, Jane and Mary. Visiting will be held at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, Miramichi, on Saturday evening, from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from St. Marys Anglican Church, on Monday, June 27, 2005, at 11 am, conducted by Rev. Alan Reynolds. Interment will be in St. Pauls Anglican Cemetery, Miramichi. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
