Hazel Bastarache 1918 - 2005 SHEDIAC, NB - Hazel Bastarache, 86, wife of the late Edmond Bastarache of the Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Steadman Street, Moncton passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2005 at the Villa Providence Home. Born December 31, 1918 in Saint John, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Bob Surette and the late Azelie LeBlanc. She enjoyed long drives in the country with her daughters and will always be remembered by her great and generous smile. You were our best friend. Rest well Mother. We will never forget you. She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Alfreda O'Neil (late Sandy) and Agnes Bastarache both of Moncton; one son, Terrence of Calgary, AB; one grandson, Ronald (Cynthia); and by one great grandson, Ethan. She was predeceased by her husband, Edmond (1982); and by a brother, Fred "Decker" Surette. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 88 Church Street, Moncton (8581900) with visitation on Monday, June 27 from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and on Tuesday, June 28 from 8:30a.m. until time of departure at 9:15a.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30a.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, Moncton.
