Marchien Siebring (née Hulzebos) July 22, 1916 - June 29, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Sands Funeral Chapel (Duncan) Proverbs 31:26-30. “ When she speaks, her words are wise, and kindness is the rule when she gives instruction. She carefully watches all that goes on in her household. Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her, (saying) “ there are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all!” Born July 22, 1916 in Vlagtwedde, Groningen, Holland. Passed away June 29, 2005 in Duncan BC, Canada. The Lord in His mercy has taken our loving mom and Oma, Marchien Siebring (nee Hulzebos) to Himself in her 89th year. Predeceased by her husband Hiske and one grandson (Harold), she leaves three children to mourn and remember her, Hermien (Gerry) Wikkerink, John (Sharon) Siebring, and Al Siebring. She also leaves 8 surviving grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Public viewing from 10am till noon Monday, July 4th at Sands Funeral Chapel, 187 Trunk Road. Funeral Service will be 2pm Monday, July 4th at the Duncan Christian Reformed Church, 930 Trunk Road, with interment to follow at Mountainview Cemetery. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Cerwydden Care Centre for the outstanding way they looked after mom in her final days.
