MEADE, DELTHA ALMEDA The passing of Deltha Meade, widow of the late Harry F. Meade, of Swan Creek, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Friday, July 1, 2005. She was 92. Born November 28, 1912 in Upper Gagetown, NB, she was a daughter of the late Bliss and Sylvia (Chase) Randall. Deltha was a member of the Pine Grove United Church, Burton, NB. She was a beautiful knitter and enjoyed working in her flower garden and especially enjoyed the outdoors and camping with her daughter and son-inlaw, Verna and Kenneth Poore at "Wally's Camp Ground" at Cambridge-Narrows. She was the oldest camper at the campground. Deltha was also known for her excellent bread making. She was a remarkable lady and will be greatly missed by her loving family and her many friends. She is survived by four sons, Harold (Wanda) of Swan Creek, James (Kate) of Swan Creek, Kenneth (Linda) of Sparwood, BC and Bliss (Marianne) of Swan Creek; three daughters, Rozella Coy (Allen) of Upper Gagetown, Verna Poore (Kenneth) of Swan Creek and Phyllis Brown (Gerald) of Swan Creek; two daughters-in-law Aline Meade and Helen Newsome both of Swan Creek; three brothers, Charlie Randall (Maxine) and Curtis Randall (Joyce) both of BC and Walter Randall (Verley) of Fredericton; six sisters, Verna Warman of Alberta, Hattie Cameron of Ont., Elnora Delong (Fred) of BC, Heloise Randall of Fredericton, Alice Despres (Eric) of Upper Gagetown and Arvella Currie (William) of Alberta; a brother-in-law Lyle Currie of Swan Creek; 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Also survived by a special nephew Ken Lutes (Barbara) of New Hampshire. Deltha also leaves behind her special canine companion "Casey" who was always by her side. Predeceased by her parents; her husband Harry Meade; sons Robert, Gerald and Allen Meade; a great-grandson John Robert Smith; brothers Elihu, Everett, Gerald and Lloyd Randall and one sister Glenna Currie. Deltha will rest at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, on Sunday from 2-4 and 79 PM. The funeral service will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, July 4, 2005 at 2:00 PM. Interment in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Burton, NB.
