Ilie Sporea May 01, 1945 - July 01, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Lower Sackville) SPOREA, Ilie - 60, Lower Sackville, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2005, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born in Cacova, Caras-Sevarin, Romania, on May 1, 1945, Ilie immigrated to Canada in 1978. He is survived by his wife, Viorica (Eremia) Sporea; daughters, Alina Velimirovici, Oravita, Caras-Sevarin, Romania; Alexandra Florina Ticlea, Lower Sackville. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville, where visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 6, at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Romanian Orthodox masses and interment will take place in Romania. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
