Mrs. Arlene Marie Lusher (née Barratt) August 02, 1918 - June 30, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) LUSHER, Arleene Marie LUSHER, Arleene Marie - 86, Melville Lodge, Halifax, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 30, 2005, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born August 2, 1918, in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Edith (Kidd) Barratt. Arleene was a lifelong member of the Girl Guides of Canada and a member of the IODE. Arleene was the last surviving member of her immediate family and is survived by her daughter, Heather, Halifax. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter. Arrangements have been entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, where the funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev. Carolyn Tomlin officiating. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow in Atlantic Funeral Home Family Reception Centre.
