Harry Spindler September 25, 1928 - July 05, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) SPINDLER, Harry SPINDLER, Harry - 76, Dartmouth, passed away at his home on July 5, 2005. Born in Lunenburg, he was a son of the late Capt. Irvin and Grace Spindler. He received his education at Lunenburg Academy, Nova Scotia Hospital School of Nursing and Dalhousie University. During his career in the health care field, he held the positions of Director of Nursing Education, Nova Scotia Hospital, Administrator of Keddy's Nursing Manor and Supervisor of Homes for Special Care for the province of Nova Scotia. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Chisholm) Spindler, Dartmouth; niece, Gail Goldman, Toronto; sister-in-law, Mary (Ken) Maclaren and family. He was predeceased by sister, Frances Hansen, and his brother, Clayton. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 8, at Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, Rev. Dr. Cynthia Chenard officiating. Interment at a later date. Family flowers only.
