Mrs. Pearl Selina Robart (née Barclay) August 26, 1916 - July 08, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) ROBART, Pearl Selina ROBART, Pearl Selina - 88, passed away Friday, July 8, 2005, in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by her family. Born in Debert, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Ida Barclay. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Whitfield, and her granddaughter, Nichelle. She is survived by her children, Donald (Lawna), Calgary, Alta.; Darryl (Bev), St. John's, NL; Gregory (Penny), Big Lake, B.C.; Joan Fanning (Don McInnis), Fergus, Ont.; Gordon (Mona), New Minas; Nancy Durnford (Conrad), Halifax; Christine Robart-Vanderweit (John), Port Williams; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Canadian Diabetes Association or Canadian Cancer Society. She was laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Donald, in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. A private family ceremony was held on July 9.
