John Henry Allen August 19, 1922 - July 11, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Regina Funeral Home ALLEN - John Henry went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 11, 2005 in Regina, SK at the age of 82. Predeceased by his parents; brothers: Ken, Cliff and Percy; sisters: Emmie, Bell, Elva and Bea. Survived by his wife Renee of 60 years; daughters Liz (Garry) Dickin of Regina, SK, Kathy (Garry) Ollinger of St. Albert, AB, Joan (Jim) Bogard of LaRonge, SK, Jennifer (Dale) Fairburn of Regina, SK; grandchildren Kirk (Deann), Scott, Sean, Rick, Matthew, Jonathan and Chris and great grandchildren Brian and Jessica. Born in Indian Head, SK Jack served in the Royal Canadian Army during WWII. He was an excellent plumber and worked at his trade for 35 years. Among Jack’s many interests were fishing, playing horseshoes at the cottage, watching his grandsons play hockey and creating stained glass pictures and crafts. Jack lived a full life and was an active member of Norman Kennedy Presbyterian Church. If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Jack’s name may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 2360 – 2nd Avenue, Regina, SK S4R 1A6 or Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St., Regina, SK S4P 2R3. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Norman Kennedy Presbyterian Church, 5303 Sherwood Drive on Friday, July 15, 2005, at 10:30 am.
