GILLESPIE, EUGENE GARRET Eugene G. Gillespie of McAdam passed away July 11, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Harvey Station in 1950, he was a son of the late Roy and Virginia (James) Gillespie. Eugene is survived by a daughter, Jenny Lynn Messer, McAdam; a grandson, Dawson Messer; two sisters, Twilla Featherstone (Rev. Edwin) and Bonnie Charters, both of Schertz, Texas; three brothers, Donald, Saint John, Larry (Mary Ellen), Woodstock and Wendell (June), McAdam; his stepmother, Josie Gillespie, Harvey Station; three step-brothers, Glenn, Paul and Peter Thompson; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station with visiting hours Wednesday 7 to 9 and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Friday, July 15, 2005 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Terry Kennedy officiating. Interment will be in Rockland Cemetery.
