REID, ERIC ROBERT Eric R. Reid of Nackawic passed away July 13, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton. Born in Millville in 1929, he was a son of the late Alfred Sr. and Lena (Harvey) Reid. Eric was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the Royal Canadian Navy from 1949 to 1954. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, camping and travel and being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He was an electrician and also the store manager at Reid's Store in Millville for twenty years. Eric was a Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Millville Branch - 59. Eric is survived by his wife, Geraldine (Marr) Reid; two daughters, Terry Hoyt (Andy), Millville and Wendy King (Roger), Lr. Hainesville; three stepsons, Clifton Myshrall (Beverley), Mouth of Keswick, Kevin Myshrall (Charlene), Nackawic and Jonathan Myshrall (Melanie), Barony; a sister, Marina Hull (Norman), Millville; two brothers, Alfred Reid (Anna), Millville and Raymond Reid, Fredericton; grandchildren, Elana Kelly (Jody), Alicia Hoyt, Erica Reid, Jennine King, Jessica Myshrall, Sherri Myshrall, Roslyn Courier, Joey Myshrall, Scott Myshrall, Shane Maunder, Ryan Maunder, Colten Myshrall and Dillan Myshrall; two great grandchildren, Jessie and Colten Kelly; several nieces and nephews and numerous family members in Northern Ireland. He was predeceased by an infant son, Robert; a brother, Ronald Reid; an infant brother Gerald and an infant sister, Anna. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Royal Canadian Legion tribute service will be held Friday evening at 6:45p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Saturday, July 16, 2005 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Blinn officiating, assisted by Rev. Carl and Evelyn Brewer. Interment will be in Hawkins Corner Cemetery.
