Adelard Richard CAP-PELÉ, NB - Adelard Richard, age 78, of rue Donnelle, Cap-Pelé, NB passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Friday, July 15, 2005 after a lengthy illness. Born January 12, 1927, in Cap Pelé, he was the son of the late Maurice Richard and Alvina Cormier. He was working at Richard's Market Grocery Store and was owner of Richard's Enterprise. He attended Ste-Thérèse Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap-Pelé. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and a veteran of the second world war. He is survived by his wife, Alice (Cormier) Richard; four sons, Maurice Richard (Linda Goguen) of Bas CapPelé, Gérard, Richard (Annette Léger), André Richard (Jacqueline Doiron), Daniel Richard (Giselle Goguen) all of Cap-Pelé; three sisters, Aurore Boudreau (John) of Springhill, Mass., Lorraine Bourgeois (Edmond) of GrandeDigue, Juliette Landry (Francis) of Memramcook East; five brothers, Hervé Richard (Louisa Léger), Joseph Richard (late Yvonne Goguen), Laurie Richard (Anna Cormier), Euloge Richard (Cécile Landry), all of Cap-Pelé and Léon Richard (late Olivette D'Entremont) of Moncton; nine grandchildren, Martin, Andy, Chris, Nicki, Rémi, Samuel, Mélanie, Nathalie and Marc; five great grandchildren, Jordan, Felyx, Sylvain, Cedric and Kyana; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two daughters, Jeanita and Pauline and one brother, Valérie. Resting at Ste-Thérese Avila Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, with visiting hours on Monday, July 18, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm and Tuesday, July 19, 2005 from 9:30 am till time of the funeral. Funeral Service at Ste-Thérese Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap-Pelé on Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at 11:00 am. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to donor's choice is requested by the family.
