SNOPEK, Rose, With profound sadness, the family of Rose (Smisko) Snopek announces her passing. She succumbed peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family at the Welland Hospital on Wednesday June 8, 2005 in her 68th year. Cherished wife of the l ate Stanley Snopek (2003). Loving mother of Gloria Dringus (Frank), Michael (Deborah), and Tommy (Julie). She will be sadly missed by grandchildren Stefanie and Jennifer Dringus, Jack and Allie Snopek. Dear sister of Victor Smisko (Barbara) and aunt of Andrew Smisko (Nadia). She was a long-time member of the Canadian Slovak League, Branch 23. Friends may call at J. J. PATTERSON & SONS FUNERAL RESIDENCE, 19 Young Street, Welland on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where a Vigil will be held at 3 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at The Parish Community of St. Kevin, 307 Niagara Street, Welland on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Rite of committal in Holy Cross Cemetery.
