WALTERS, Margaret, Peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Wednesday, June 8, 2005 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Fred W. Gamble (1982). William "Shifty" Taylor (1974) and Frank Walters (1988). Loving mother of the late Fred J. Gamble (2004). Dear mother-in-law of Shirley Gamble of St. Catharines. Loved grama of Judie (Thomas) Holomego, great grama of Jessica (Jarrod) Burtt, Jennifer Holomego and Joey Holomego, great-great-grama of Kennedy Burtt. Dear Sister of Agnes Da vies and Betty (Charles) Soper of Thorold and sister-in-law of Elva Black, Ed Vandromin and Dave Abraham. Predeceased by brothers John (Mary) Black, James (Connie) Black, Bill Black and sisters Teresa (George) Maltychuk, Dolores Vendromin, June (Bob) McPherson, "Ronnie" Abraham and brother-in-law Bill Davies. Special friend to Florence and Walter Lessey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Margaret was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church, Thorold and a member of the Catholic Women's League , Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary Royal Canadian Legion Br. 17, Thorold, a member of the Mary McMillan Liberal Ladies Association, Thorold Seniors and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hotel Dieu Hospital. The family will receive friends at the KARL A. HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be Celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church on Saturday, June 11th at 10:00 a.m. Vigil Prayers with the CWL present will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 3:00 p.m. Rite of Committal at Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold.
