ANDERSON, Jane (Jean) D., At Henley House, with family at her side on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 in her 96th year. She was a great lady who loved life. Beloved wife of the late James Anderson (1990), former Police Chief. Dear mother of Ruth Bell (Robert ) and Leone Allen (Douglas). Gram is also survived by her 4 grandchildren Fred, Greg, Mark and Tara and 5 great-grandchildren James, John, Tyler, Tristan and Trae. She will be sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Jeanette Anderson. She was predeceased by her son Brian S. Anderson (2004) Jean was born April 1, 1910 in Glasgow, Scotland. She was a seventy five year member of Knox Presbyterian Church and was a long time volunteer with the Shaver Rehab Hospital Auxiliary. The family would like to tha nk all of the staff on Centennial Wing at the Henley House who made friends with Jean and also for your very kind and compassionate care. Honoring Jean's wishes there will be a Private Family Service at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Donations in Jean's mem ory may be made to the Shaver Rehab Hospital Foundation.
