PORTER, John, At McMaster University Medical Centre, Hamilton on Thursday, June 16, 2005. John Porter of Grimsby age 76 years. Beloved husband of Lenore "Lee" (nee Horning) Porter. Loving father of Leslie and her husband Tony Russo of Grimsby, Lori and her husband Pete Hendriksen of St. Catharines and Greg Porter and his wife Joanna of Hamilton. Cherished grandfather of Joshua, Elizabeth, Adam, Benjamin, Christina, Matthew, Vincent and his wife Nadine, Paula and her husband Mark, Benito and gre at-grandfather of Owen, Abbie, Lukas and Jessie. Dear brother of Lilian and her husband Richard Gould of Burlington, Barbara and her husband Julius Csatary and Bernard Porter and his wife Dorothy all of Grimsby. He will also sadly missed by many niec es and nephews. Predeceased by his parents John and Lilian Porter. John had served in the Royal Canadian Navy, was a retired employee of Stelco No. 2 Rod Mill and a retired member of the Grimsby Volunteer Fire Department. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHI TCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Monday, June 20, 2005 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. In keeping with John's wishes a Private Family Interment will follow.
