CAVEZZA, Carmen, After a courageous battle with cancer, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2005, with his family by his side, at the age of 64. Carmen will be sadly missed by his wife of 43 years, Francesca. Loving and devoted father of Rose (Hani) Ghazaleh, Lucy Cavezza (Brett Wales) and Luigi (Jessica) Cavezza. Dearest Nonno to Christina, Kelsey, Kyle and Julia. Brother of Antonio (Edera) Cavezza (Italy), Barbato (Anna) Cavezza (Niagara Falls), Raffaela (Antonio) Galeotafiore (Dr yden), Felice (Veneranda) Cavezza (Thunder Bay), Guiseppina (Gavino) Napolitano (Italy) and Anna (Luigi) Carlucci (Toronto). Also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in Italy, and will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and ma ny close friends. Predeceased by his father and mother Luigi and Rosa Cavezza and father-in-law and mother-in-law Aniello and Carmella Napolitano. Carmen came to Canada from Cicciano, Napoli, Italy in 1959. In 1968, he moved from Ignace, Ontario to N iagara Falls, where many beautiful memories were created with his family. He worked for Canadian Pacific Railway, Ohio Brass and retired from General Motors in 2002. He will be remembered as hard-working, compassionate, kind-hearted and gentle. Carme n was a handy-man, enjoyed gardening, bocci and was a member of Club Italia. Friends and family can visit at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5917 Main Street, Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil will be held Friday at 3 o'clock. Th e Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Thomas More Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Mausoleum.
