LAMB, Marilyn Jean, Peacefully in the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at age 65 with her family at her side. The daughter of the late Ian Douglas and Kathleen Lamb, Marilyn is survived by her children, Douglas Hawkes of Sto ney Creek, Sharon Hawkes and Dave of Hamilton, Linda and Donnie MacInnis of Wellandport, Carrie Hawkes and Mark of St. Catharines and Brian Hawkes and Carol of Thorold, and her sisters Carol (Mike) Hamilton of St. Catharines, Heather (Harold) Houston of Port Hope and Patricia (Bill) Trapnell of St. Catharines. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Marilyn was born and raised in Montreal, moving to St. Catharines in 1991. She was employed as a health care aid with Com care Health Services and later as a greeter with Wal-Mart at the Lincoln Mall, retiring in November 2004. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service and interment will take place at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Tuesday, July 5, at 2 p.m. The fami ly wishes to thank the wonderful staff of the General's Oncology/Palliative Care Unit with a special thanks to Dr. Diane Walser-Jebb.
