KRAUSE, Donald Glenn, Don Krause died on Saturday, July 09, 2005 surrounded by his family at North Bay General Hospital in his 66th year after a courageous battle with cancer. Don was the beloved husband of Lyndy P. (Richardson) of Powassan and the loving father of Suzanne McCreary (rand) of Crystal Beach, Julie Krause of North Bay, Sheila Krause (Matt Leman) of Invermere, B.C., Sandra Armstrong (Glen) of Subenacadie, N.S., and Roxy Krause of Toronto. He was the dear grandfather of Randy, Tyler , Jude, Ben and Jacob. Don was the dear brother of Wil Krause (Lizette) of Tichborne, Loreen Gray (Carrol), Arnold Krause (Ann) and Clara Kornelson (Herb) all of St. Catharines. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family . He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his friend Gerry Sharpe. Don was predeceased by his parents Judith (Epp) and Cornelius Krause and by brothers Raymond and John Krause. The family will receive visitors at the PAUL FUNERAL HO ME in Powassan on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with cremation to follow. If desired, donations may be made in Don's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
