ROSSINI, Gino, Peacefully, on Wednesday, July 6th, 2005 in his 90th year. Mild mannered and soft spoken, Gino led a life of high moral character that was a constant source of inspiration to family and friends. Above all else Gino was a loving husban d, father and grandfather. Dear son of Augusto and Lisa Rossini. Beloved husband of the late Mary (2001). Loving father of Robert (Nancy) Rossini of St. Catharines, Ronald (Arlene) Rossini of London, Linda (Tom) Kerr of Fonthill and Barbara (Joseph) Colonna of St. Catharines. Loved papa of Carol Anne, Jennifer, Jeff, Emily, Gabe and Christine. Predeceased by brothers Joseph and Mario and sisters Theresa, Sadie, Helen and Mary. Gino was a Veteran of WWII, serving with the Canadian Armed Forces. H e was also a lifelong member of Holy Rosary Church, serving in a volunteer capacity as an usher. The family will receive friends at the KARL A. HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral L iturgy will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Thorold on Saturday, July 9th at 9:30 a.m. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 3:30 p.m. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 17, Thorold will hold a Memorial Servic e at the Funeral Home on Friday at 7:00 p.m. Rite of Committal at Lakeview Cemetery Mausoleum, Thorold.
