BAILEY, John Charles, June 24, 1923-July 19, 2005 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jack on July 19, 2005, at West Park Health Centre. Beloved husband of Gwendoline, father of Tom, Janet and Del Brett, of Bristol England, Kevin and Sue. Granddad of Aaron Bailey, Christopher Brett and Kaylin and Hanna Bailey. Jack was born in Bay Roberts, Newfoundland in 1923, settled in Ontario in 1946. He was an active member with the South St.Catharines Rotary Club. Jack had a great passi on for sailing and was a Command of the Port Dalhousie Power Squadron in the early 80's. He was employed with Royal LePage until his retirement. "I must go to the sea again, The lonely sea in the sky and all I ask is for a tall ship and a star to ste er her by". Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St., 905-684-6346 on Thursday, July 21, 2005 from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service for family and friends will be held at St. J ohn's Anglican Church in Jordan on Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at 11 a.m. with visitation 10:00-11:00.
