DEWEY, Robert H., Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital, on Monday, July 18, 2005 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of the late Imelda Dewey (1994). Loving father of Rob, Mike (Dawn), Pat (Terri), Marion and Mary Jane. Grandp a of Carol Ann (Michael), Rob (Tracy), Michael, Adam, Philip (Katie), Patrick (Darcy), Mathew, Nathan, Kara, Leya (Randy), Jennifer, Jacob, Joshua and Coleman. Great-grandpa (Old Grandpa) of Tyler, Jacob, Robby, Nicole and Nolan. Robert was a Veteran of World War II serving with the Lincoln Welland Regiment. He was a former member of Chippawa, Port Colborne and Port Dalhousie Legions. Robert was a devoted husband and father, with many delightful tales and whimsical traits. His many hours of stor ies and company will be sorely missed. Many thanks to the ongoing care of Dr. Manjos, his Homecare nurses Sandi, Dorsy and Irene. The wonderful staff at S.C.G.H. and to Dr. Hartman for keeping our father comfortable. The family will receive friends a t the KARL A. HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, July 22nd at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold.
