LeBLANC, ARTHUR JOSEPH (Veteran of WW II and Member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 69) - Peacefully, at Ridgewood Veteran's Wing, on July 17, 2005 in his 89th year. Son of the late Edmond and Elizabeth LeBlanc. Beloved husband of Jeanne for 58 years. Loving father of Helen Thibodeau (Bert) of Saint John, Douglas (Patsy) of Grand Bay, and Pauline Robichaud (Alex) of Fredericton. Arthur will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Robert, Colleen, April, Brent, Ricky, and Charlene; and by his nine great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Dianna Gerrior, Lionel, Adrice, Claire Bond, Rita Matherson and Joseph LeBlanc. Predeceased by his brother George and sister Margaret. Arthur served his country overseas from 1941-45 and upon his return to Saint John, worked longshore and as a painter (Eddy Russell) for many years. During later years, Arthur enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and bus tours. Friends may call at the Castle Funeral Home, Fallsview Chapel, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John on Tuesday from 2-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rose de Lima Church, 541 Milford Rd. West, Saint John, on Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at 10 o'clock. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
