Gaetano Spadafora August 14, 1924 - July 21, 2005 Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by his family on July 21st, 2005 in his 81st year. Most beloved husband of Luigina (nee Russo). Loving father of Josie and her husband Angelo Venneri , Ralph and his wife Christine Spadafora. Cherished Nonno of John, Guytano (Nancy), and Anthony Venneri, Julian and Claudia Spadafora. Predeceased by his parents Raffaele and Giuseppina Spadafora, parents in-laws Ignazio and Giuseppina Russo. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Concetta and Ernesto Spadafora, Francesco and the late Saveria Spadafora, Elvira and the late Ippolito Bozzo, the late Domenico and Rita Spadafora, Eugenio and Ada Spadafora, Pasquale and Angela Spadafora, Maria and Francesco Spadafora, Angela and Carmine Spadafora all of Hamilton, and Anna and Giovanni Parise of Italy. Brother-in-law of the late Francesco and Rina Russo, Ida and Santino Giordano, Anna and Vincenzo Gualtieri, all of Italy, Teresa and Mario Tarantino of New York NY, Santo and Maria Russo of Scottsdale AZ, and Maria and Robert Ballard of Portland OR. He will be missed by many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. As a long time member of the Donnici Social Club, he will be sadly missed. Gaetano was a loving and gentle man. He taught us the value of family, friends, love and respect. His legacy will live on in all our hearts, especially in the hearts of his grandchildren whom he cherished dearly - they will surely make him proud. Sincere thanks to Dr. Heller and Dr. Boyle, and the wonderful nurses in the GI ward at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their exemplary care and compassion. A special thank you to Dr. Raffaele Filice for his help in guiding us all through this journey and to Colin Paddon for his care and understanding.
