Geraldine Ruth Walker June 19, 1942 - July 21, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) WALKER, Geraldine Ruth - 63, Halifax, passed away July 21, 2005, in the Palliative Care Unit, QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Halifax on June 19, 1942, she was a daughter of Ruth Kettle of Dartmouth and the late Captain Walter Kettle. Born and educated in Nova Scotia, Geraldine was a graduate (1965) of the former Anglican Women's Training College (AWTC), Toronto. She was a past president of the Diocesan Anglican Church Women. Surviving are her husband, Rev. Ronald Walker; daughter, Heather Gage, Williamswood; son, Dennis Walker, Calgary, Alta.; sisters, Marilyn King, Sydney; Beverley Dagley, Yarmouth; grandchildren, Nathan and Nicholas Gage. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, July 25, in Cathedral Church of All Saints, Halifax, Bishop Fred Hiltz officiating, assisted by Arch Bishop Arthur Peters. A reception will be held immediately following the service. Burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
