George Wilson Crowell September 15, 1924 - July 20, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) CROWELL, George Wilson - 80, Lawrencetown, formerly of Halifax, died July 20, 2005, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Lawrencetown, he was a son of the late Sinclair and Maude (Clarke) Crowell. He was employed with Standard Paving for many years. George enjoyed bingo and going on bus tours. He is survived by daughter, Dale (Freeman) Randell, Halifax; grandchildren, Amanda, Timothy; two brothers, one sister. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Sarah Naomi Sharpe; son, Roger. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax, where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Moser River.
