Melas Bourgeois SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Melas Bourgeois, age 86, of Sackville, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Saturday, July 23, 2005. Born in Cap Pelé, he was a son of the late Melas and Justine (Landry) Bourgeois. Melas was formerly employed with Fawcett Foundry with over 30 years of experience. A man of many talents he was a good artist drawing animals. He was a member of St. Vincent Roman Catholic Church. Melas will be sadly missed by his wife, the former Lorraine Thibodeau, Sackville; a son, Acquila (Deborah), Sackville; five daughters, Sonia (William) Buchanan, Leonette (Robert) Nelson and Maurise Levesque, all of Sackville, Yvette (Wallace) Ward, Bedford, NS and Michelle (Bernard) Goguen, Cap Pelé; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; four brothers, Adrice Boudreau, Ovid (Aline) Boudreau, Ola (Dora) Boudreau and Bernard (Zena) Boudreau; and a sister, Louisa Arsenault. He was predeceased by sisters, Edna and Rita. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300) with visitation Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the St. Vincent Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at 11 am, Father Alban Thibodeau officiating.
