MACNEILL, DURWOOD BELMONT The death of Durwood Belmont MacNeill, of Burtts Corner, husband of 64 years Bertha (Price) MacNeill, occurred on Friday July 22, 2005 peacefully at his residence. Born in Birdton, NB. He was the son of the late John Franklin MacNeill and Alberta Maude (Brewer) MacNeill. He is survived by six sons; Floyd of Harvey NB, Eugene of Burtts Corner NB, Allison (Joan) of Springdale NF, Richard (Leslie) of Burtts Corner NB, John (Anne) of Lower Hainesville NB and Robert of Burtts Corner NB; four daughters Leona (Norman) Wiggins of Burtts Corner NB, Gloria (Gerald) Northorp of Oromocto NB, Mabel (Kenn) Pugh of Calgary Ab and Katherine MacNeill of Fredericton NB; eighteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; one brother Edmond (Ned) MacNeill (Joyce) of Salmo BC; one sister Edna Bird of Fredericton NB; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by infant son Wilfred; one daughter Ruby Roberts; six brothers Lloyd, Lawrence, Watson, Ernest Bruce and Vernon. Visitation will be held from York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton NB on Monday July 25, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday at 2pm with Rev. David Wellwood officiating. Burial will be held in the Burtts Corner Community Cemetery.For those who wish, remembrances to the Red Cross Society or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
