June Wagner June 25, 1928 - July 17, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Leyden's Funeral Home (Calgary) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother surrounded by her family on Sunday, July 17, 2005 at the Rosedale Hospice. She is survived by her daughter Shirley (Del) Olson; sons Chuck (Lynn) Buker; Kenny (April) Buker; Paul (Debbie) Buker; and eight great-grandchildren. June is also survived by her son Terry (Lynn) Hodge, and their children Derek and Hilary; daughter Ronna (Keith) Johnstone and their children Ashley, Dustin and Keaton; and Bradley (Lori) Hodge and their children Tyler, Curtis and Casey. She will be missed by her two brothers; Beaven (Phillis) Giles and George (Dorothy) Giles and by her sisters in law: Betty and Shiela. June has resided in Calgary for the past 42 years. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald Hodge in 1973, by her son Gregory William Hodge in 1979 and also by her second husband Martin Wagner in 2002. June loved to winter in her home in Palm Springs, California, where family, friends and relatives visited often. Mom was a very loving, generous and vibrant lady until her illness caught us all by surprise. We would like to thank Dr. Grisdale and all the staff at the Rosedale Hospice for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in June’s memory to the Rosedale Hospice (920-7A St. NW, Calgary, AB T2M 3J3). A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at The Villa (178 Strathaven Circle SW).
