Gertrud Knaak February 10, 1913 - July 25, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Evergreen Funeral Chapel Gertrud Knaak (1913 –2005) died peacefully at her home surrounded by family, with her loving husband Fred at her side. She and Fred enjoyed 68 years of a caring marriage together. She is survived by her husband, their sons Peter and Uve, together with Peter’s wife Derry and their children: Stephanie and her husband Scott, their children, Alexandra and Jack; Tyson and his wife Megan and their daughter Julia; son Jay and his fiancé Cherene; daughters, Lindsay, Arden and Kerry and her fiancé Jason; and Uve’s wife Rose, their daughter Shannon and son Joshua, his wife Peggy and their children Sara and Sky. Gertrud’s life was characterized by strength, joy and optimism. Her memory will be cherished by her family. The family thanks all those who helped care for Gertrud at her home.
