Mrs. Eleonora "Elly" Louise Vandermei (née Ambrosius) November 11, 1923 - July 23, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Richmond Funeral Home Born in Maalang, Indonesia in 1923. Immigrated to Canada in 1955. Peacefully passed away July 23, 2005 at Richmond, B.C. Beloved wife for 50 years to Joeke "Joe." Beloved mother to Marianne (Peter) McWilliams, Hans (Deborah) Alberts, Louise (Maggie) Alberts; grandchildren, Noah, Hoti, Josephine, Lukas and Arianna; great-granddaughters, Rosemary, Faith and Shamira. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2005 at the family home at 4:00 pm. The family of Elly wish to thank Pastor Opmeer and the staff of the Richmond Funeral Home for their care and support.
