Robert Richard Darville January 27, 1959 - July 26, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) DARVILLE, Robert Richard - 46, Halifax, passed away suddenly July 26, 2005, in Italy Cross, Lunenburg Co. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Anne Mae (Marshall) and the late Alden Darville. He was employed as a technician with Aliant for 25 years, following in his father's and siblings' footsteps. Robert was a diehard Leafs fan. He also had a passion for the cottage in Italy Cross, always being surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his wife, the former Jeri Ross; daughter, Holly Dawn; sons, Kristopher, Alex, and Stephen; brother, Alden Jr.; sisters, Audrey Darville, Marcella Daikens; half-brothers, Michael and Joseph Johnson, and half-sisters, Ida Denny and Gloria Johnson, Eskasoni, Cape Breton. He was predeceased by sister, Kathleen in infancy; brother, Alfred. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd. Funeral mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, corner of Willett Street and Coronation Avenue, Father Duncan MacMaster officiating. Cremation to follow.
