Alastair Watson FREDERICTON, NB - The death of Alastair "Al" Watson of Fredericton, NB, occurred suddenly on Thursday, July 28, 2005. Born in Three Rivers, Quebec, he was the son of the late Matthew and Margaret (Anderson) Watson, and the long time companion of John Henderson. Al enjoyed people and was known for his generosity. He was always lending a helping hand. He was involved with Boys Scouts in Quebec for many years before moving to Fredericton. He enjoyed spending time outdoors Salmon fishing and spending recent retirement on the Miramichi. His family, friends and especially his nieces and nephews, will sadly miss him. Survived by one brother, Iain Watson (Liliane) of Three Rivers, Quebec; a twin sister, Elizabeth Grosz of Nepean, ON; nieces, Sherri -Lyn, Joyce, Cynthia and Catherine; nephew, Scott. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Monday, August 1, 2005 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm followed by a memorial service in the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel at 2:00 pm. Father Walter Lynch, a personal friend, will officiate. Interment will be at a later date.
