HOLMES, Hilda Mae Peacefully at the Dundas Manor, Winchester on Thursday June 30, 2005. Hilda Jackson in her 98th year. Wife of the late Ernest Holmes. Mother of Thelma Williams, Kanata; Stuart (Joyce), Osgoode; Winnifred Patterson, Mountain; Mabel Summers (Laurie), Winchester; Fred (Barbara), Napanee; Betty Faith (William), Perth; Larrie (Orleen), Calgary; Dwayne (Phyllis), Winchester and Richard (Ellyn), Arnprior. Grandma to 38 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Hazel Merkley, Winchester and Beatrice Price, Prescott. Sister-in-law of Dorothy Jackson, Belleville. Predeceased by daughter Pauline, 3 grandchildren, 2 sisters and 6 brothers. Friends may call at the Winchester Funeral Home, 505 Church St. on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and on Monday at Winchester Wesleyan Church, 537 Main St., from 1 pm to time of service. Funeral service in the church hall on Monday at 2 pm. Interment to follow at Maple Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dundas Manor Activity Fund, the Winchester District Memorial Hospital or the Osgoode Township Care Center.
