ARCHAMBAULT, Robert P. 1941 - 2005 Passed away at Elizabeth Bruyere Health Centre on June 30th, 2005 surrounded by his family. Loving son of the late Romuald Archambault and Kathleen MacDonald. Dear father of Brigitte Archambault (Daniel Poulin) and the late Robert R.S. Archambault, and grandfather of Marc-Andre, Zoe, Gabrielle and Joel Poulin. Also left in mourning are his sisters and brothers: Pierre, Suzanne (Claude Sauriol), Paul (Claudette Beaudry), Christine, Jean-Marc (Lise Barrette), Jacques, Louise (Allen Rutter), Irene and Francine as well as numerous nieces, nephews and his former wife Susan Call. Bob began his career with Foreign Affairs in 1965 as a diplomat with postings which included Brasilia, Brussels, Accra, Tokyo and Washington. Through his devoted years of service, Bob developed many close friendships from around the world. His family, friends and colleagues respected and admired him for his integrity and commitment to his work and all he held dear. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway) on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 6, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2005 at the Notre-Dame Cathedral, 385 Sussex Drive (at Guigue) at 10:30 a.m. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
