JONES, Peter John Peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Tuesday, June 28th, 2005 at age 67. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Gail E. Jones (nee Rickards) for 46 years. Dear father of Jennifer Azzano (Vanni) of St. Marys, Scott Jones (Trish) of St. Thomas, and Jocelyn Jones (Mike Osborne) of Barrie. Special grandpa to Bradley, Mark and Joel Azzano, and Mitchell and Allison Jones. Dear brother of Helen Lacey (Bernard), and Ronald Jones, and brother-in-law to Evelyn Jones, all of Ottawa. Predeceased by parents Bill and Reta Jones and brother Kenneth. Will be missed by several nieces, nephews, and many good friends. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, Clapperton and Worsley Streets, Barrie, on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Margaret's Anglican Church, Hanmer & Ford Streets, Barrie, on Friday, July 1st, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Burial to take place at Ottawa at a later date. In memory of Peter, donations can be made to St. Margaret's Anglican Church or The Stroke Recovery Association, Barrie & District Chapter.
