ALLARD, Ellen After a brief illness, during an ongoing battle with throat cancer, Ellen Allard (nee Kendall) passed away Saturday, July 2, 2005 at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital in her 86th year. She is survived by her son Jim (Judy) of Regina, Sask., daughters Jeannette (Frank Mell) of Munster and Marilyn (Pat Nurse) of Stittsville. Dear sister of Stan Kendall of Ottawa, Bob Kendall of Winnipeg and sister Margaret of Ajax, On. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Bryan, Ellen, Dean, Dawn and Dorian and by many great-grandchildren. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 580 Eagleson Road (Kanata) Tuesday after 1 p.m. Funeral Service Tuesday in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment of cremated remains at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Toronto, at a later date.
