LYON, Robert, 1928-2005 Peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Friday, July 1st. Robert Lyon, beloved husband of Helen Elizabeth (Betty) Lyon and the late Helen Penn-Sinclair Lyon. Father of Robert (Joan), Marilyn (Paul), grandfather of Robbie, Martin, Katie, and Danny. Stepfather of Maria, Michael (Carolyn), Loretta, Doreen, and Jerry (Doreen). Stepgrandfather of William, Karen, Sheldon, Jonathon, Joshua, Sarah, Alex, Eric, and Jeanine Best. Brother of Christine and Tom of Scotland. The family wishes to thank both the Dialysis and Paliative Units for their excellent care. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 7th, 2005 at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel (2500 Baseline Road). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
