STEVENS, Shirley Alma (nee Sears) July 10, 1926 - July 4, 2005 Gone to join her dashing airman (the late Rollie Stevens) for a last dance. Left with a void in the hearts of her children Carolyn (Ted Edwards), Preston (Lynda), Norman (Ulrike) of Calgary, and Nancy (Bernie Seguin). A proud and loving grandmother of five granddaughters, Nadia Sayeau, Robyn Edwards, Michelle Malone of Calgary, and Chantal and Nicole Seguin. She was always there to boast of their accomplishments in life. Loving great-grandmother to Nathan Sayeau. Shirley leaves behind many friends across Canada as well as relatives in Saint John and Sackville, N.B. Friends may pay their respects at the Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, West Chapel, 150 Woodroffe Avenue on Wednesday, July 6 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the Chapel on Thursday, July 7, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre of the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
