RAY, Lawrence WWII Veteran - RCN, Longtime City of Ottawa Employee - Retired Peacefully, Tuesday, July 12, 2005 Lawrence Albert Ray age 84, with his loving family by his side. Loving husband of Valerie Bennett-Leach and the late Isobel Hall. Dear father of David (Barbara) of Calgary, Alberta and Cathy (Garth Steele). Proud grandfather of John, Heather, Susan, Karen, Adam, Hannah and Deagan. Great grandfather of Daniel and Miles. Survived by a sister Gertrude Mantha. Predeceased by brother Joseph Ray. Fondly remembered by step-children Douglas Leach (Linda) and Patricia (Daryl Dods). Special thanks to the VON for their loving care. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Ave., (South of Fallowfield) Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service Friday in the Chapel at 11 am.
