WOOD, Patricia Peacefully, Sunday, July 10, 2005 at the General Hospital surrounded by her family. Patricia Wood at the age of 89. Faithful, dedicated Witness of Jehovah for 59 years. Patricia ensured that her family, although separated by miles, remained close-knit. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Wood. Loving mother of Linda Paradis (Roger), Sandra Squire, Deborah Thatcher (Roger) and son-in-law Detlef Dongowski. Predeceased by her daughter Judith Dongowski and son-in-law Donald Squire. Cherished Grandmother of Mark Dongowski (Angie), Sonya Stillmock (Brian); Bradley Paradis (Heather), Louise Lancione (Eliseo), Jonathan Paradis (Tracey Mayhew); Daniel, Matthew (Jennifer), Stephen and Joseph (Dawn) Squire; David (Fabiola), Jennifer and Rachel Thatcher. Fond Great-Grandmother of Nicholas and Sydney Paradis, Lucas Lancione, Stefano Dongowski, Joshua and Samantha Squire. Predeceased by three brothers and four sisters. Survived by one sister, Wilma Mann, of British Columbia. Sincere thanks to all staff on the 6th and 4th floors of the General Hospital and the Regional Cancer Centre who cared for Patricia with kindness and compassion during the past four months. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4030 Innes Road, Orleans on Saturday, July 16 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Dales Cemetery, Cumberland, Ontario.
