Helen JENDRYASZEK

KRAJEWSKI, Helen (nee Jendryaszek). Peacefully on Wednesday, July 13, at the age of ninety-three at the Canadian-Polish Welfare Institute, after a long battle with heart disease. Beloved wife of the late Edward Krajewski, mother of Richard, mother-in-law of Jean (Osman), grandmother of David and Susan. She was devoted to her immediate and extended family and will be greatly missed by all. Born in Nowy Korczyn, Poland, she immigrated to Canada in 1930, met and married Edward in 1934. Throughout her life in Montreal, apart from being a homemaker, she was extremely generous and very active supporting the Polish community's cultural, social, religious, and humanitarian organizations and led many programs and events. She was multilingual and traveled extensively in Canada, the United States and throughout Europe. She will be remembered and greatly missed by family and friends. Visitation at: 7200 boulevard Newman, LaSalle on Friday, July 15 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Rosary at 8 p.m. Funeral service on Saturday, July 16, 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 1660 Centre St., Pointe St. Charles. Interment at Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery. Our family wishes to express our sincere thanks to the staff of the Canadian Polish Welfare Institute for their extraordinary care and compassion to both Edward and Helen.
