CHILDERS, Walter Robert, Phd Peacefully on Friday, July 15th, 2005 at the Royal Ottawa Place Nursing Home, in his 90th year. Loving husband of Lynn for 52 years. Loving father of Richard (Katherine Kurdyla) and Elizabeth. Grandpa to Robert and Christie. Caring brother to his sister Anna. Walter served overseas in the Royal Canadian Artillery (1940-45). Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road at Roosevelt on Monday, July 18th, 2005 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service private. The family would like to acknowledge the extraordinary care given to Walter and the support to his family by the staff of the 1st floor, Lavender Lane, Royal Ottawa Place Nursing Home.
