NICHOLS, George Richard (Architect) Suddenly at the age of 55, on Saturday July 16, 2005 on the 15th hole while enjoying his cherished pastime. He leaves the love of his life, his wife, Allison, his pride and joy, sons Bradley, Graeme and daughter Meredith, his loving father Richard John (Jack), and loving brothers and dear friends John, Bruce and Glen. He is predeceased by his mother Joan. He is also survived by in-laws Jack and Irene Coghill, Rob and Sheila Manhire, Jack and Donna Coghill, Laird and Janice Coghill, Kirsty and Dan Hayward, and Karin Nichols, nieces and nephews Lisa and Richard Nichols, Patrick, Ian and Arthur Manhire, Erin, Greg and Lindsay Coghill, Ainslie and Jackson Coghill and cousins, colleagues, friends and golfing partners too numerous to name. Though he will be deeply missed by all, George's presence will remain with us in the buildings he has designed and the memories of the enthusiasm he brought to everything he did. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road) Nepean on Wednesday, July 20th, and Thursday, July 21st, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the Heart Institute or to a charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged.
