OBITUARY FLAMINIO PACI 1911 - 2005 Passed away peacefully on July 16, 2005, surrounded by his family. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of sixty-seven years, Giselda Genisi. Predeceased by his daughter Diana (late Rocco D'Alberto), and survived by his son Riccardo (Marcia Wiens). Cherished grandfather of Leonardo (Gabriella D'Orazio), Nancy (Ben D'Ettorre), Christopher (Robert Carlin), Anissa (Michael Atterbury). Loving great-grandfather of Massimo, Alexander and Sara. Predeceased by his brothers Leo and Fred. Survived by his sisters Molly Bacchiochi, Vicky Drudi, and Yola Galardo, as well as numerous family members and friends. He lived a long and fulfilling life with great humour and plenty of activities. His two great passions were his family and sports. In his youth, he aspired to be a professional athlete and played with The Sons of Italy hockey team, and the following baseball teams: Dopo Lavoro, Dow Brewery, Ville Emard and Les Facteurs. In his late forties, he developed a passion for golf and continued to play well into his eighties. He was a master raconteur with his quick wit and never-ending supply of jokes. He often started his stories in English, continued in French and ended in Italian. He was also a frugal handyman always willing to help family and friends with a project. Visitations will take place on Tuesday, July 19 at J.A. Guilbault, 5359 St. Michel Blvd., from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. A "Celebration of Life" mass will take place on Wednesday, July 20 at 10 a.m. at St. Brendan's Church, 3542 Rosemont Blvd. (corner 15th Ave.). The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Residence Benito-Marro for their excellent care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice is welcomed.
