ARMSTRONG, Lora Peacefully in Winchester and District Memorial Hospital on Monday, July 18, 2005 with her dignity and her sense of humour intact. Predeceased by her husband Ed and sister Pat Kennedy; she leaves behind her brother Bill and her loving children Norma Sayant (Garry), Lyman Bert (Valerie) and Patti (Steve Whitteker). Loving grandmother to Catherine Sayant; Nathan and Travis Armstrong; Tyler Whitteker and great-grandmother to Rachel and Randy Sayant. The family wishes to thank all those who helped through this difficult journey. Special thanks to Linda Tolstoy (VON); Dr. Don Merrett (both physician and friend); Dr. Brian Devin and staff at Winchester Hospital for their exceptional care; and last but not least, friends and neighbours who wrote letters, cooked treats, visited and gave her pleasure during her final months. At Lora's request their will be no visitation or service. Friends are welcome to attend the inurnment on Thursday, July 21, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Spring Hill Cemetery.
